Picoxystrobin is a systemic strobilurin fungicide that inhibits mitochondrial respiration (QoI), preventing fungal spore germination and growth, while Tricyclazole is a systemic fungicide that inhibits melanin biosynthesis, preventing fungal penetration and infection.
Pixazol should be applied as a foliar spray at the early appearance of blast disease or as a preventive spray before disease onset, ensuring thorough crop coverage, and repeat after 10–14 days if required based on disease pressure.
